I am a native of Buckatunna, Mississippi located in Wayne County. I am the daughter of Callie and Odell Taylor a teacher and a preacher. I am also a sister to five siblings who are all respectively accomplished in their own fields. After graduating from Wayne County High School with honors, I attended The University of Southern Mississippi and obtained my B.S. degree in Elementary Education. After gaining several years of teaching experience, I later completed my Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision through the University of Phoenix. I have worked in the field of education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and as an assistant principal.
I am married to Dennis Jones, a Resource Conservationist for USDA. We are the proud parents of three children: Kara, Dennis Jr., and Layla.
I count it all joy to be working with the Lumberton Public School District serving as the Lumberton Elementary Principal. It is my desire to continue to work and serve as a thriving force for all children.
Together We Will!
